Terms of Service

1. General provisions

These Terms govern your use of best3d.eu (the “Service”). By using the Service, you accept these Terms.

2. Services

The Service provides custom 3-D printing based on files you upload (STL, OBJ and similar formats), with optional finishing and delivery.

Exact manufacturing result is based on the confirmed order parameters. We do not guarantee accuracy beyond agreed specifications without explicit confirmation.

3. Orders and payment

• An order is considered placed after price confirmation and receipt of payment.
• Prices are shown for material printing plus selected options. Extra fees may apply if changes are requested after confirmation.
• Payment is accepted via methods listed on the site/order flow, including Masterfoto invoice links and, where offered, quick online payment links (for example, via Masterfoto/ESTO).

4. Materials and print results

• You choose the material, printing technology, and requested quality/finishing.
• We cannot guarantee the absence of defects caused by model geometry or file issues (thin walls, bad meshes, non-manifold geometry, distortions) unless extra preparation is agreed.

4A. Model rights (IP / usage rights)

• You confirm that you own the rights to the uploaded model/files or have permission to use them for manufacturing.
• You grant us a limited right to use your files only to review, quote, manufacture, and deliver your order.
• We may refuse files that appear unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or technically unsuitable.

4B. Quality criteria specific to 3D printing

• Layer lines, support marks, seam lines, slight dimensional tolerance differences, and minor color/shade variation are normal characteristics of 3D printing unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Mechanical strength depends on geometry, material, print orientation, wall thickness, and use conditions; decorative and thin parts may be fragile.
• Quoted/approved parameters and any confirmed finishing level define the acceptance criteria for the order.

5. Cancellation / changes

• Before payment and production start, you may request cancellation or changes.
• After payment but before production starts, cancellation/changes may be possible; we may deduct already incurred preparation costs if applicable and allowed by law.
• After production starts, cancellation or major changes are generally not possible for custom items.

6. Delivery, pickup and transfer of risk

• Delivery times are estimates unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
• For pickup orders, risk transfers when the order is handed over at the pickup point.
• For shipped orders, risk and delivery responsibility are handled according to applicable consumer law and the chosen carrier’s service conditions.

7. Consumer rights and custom-made goods (mandatory rights unaffected)

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable Latvian or EU law. For custom-made goods produced to your specification, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded where the law allows this (for example, custom 3D-printed items), except where mandatory rights apply (such as non-conformity, wrong item, or other legal remedies).

8. Liability

• The Service is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
• We commit to producing the order according to the selected parameters, but do not guarantee perfect match with idealized renders or reference images.

9. Complaints, disputes and communication

Please contact us first at support@best3d.eu so we can review and resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve a dispute, parties may use available consumer complaint channels and legal remedies under applicable Latvian/EU law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect after publication on the website. Continued use of the website means acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

Relations between the parties are governed by the laws of Latvia and applicable European Union law.
